Hello everyone! This post is going to be my first journal about the lessons. For this week, the lecturer touched about topic on Blog Writing for ELT and Introduction to CALL. I remember that I have learned the latter one in diploma on how to use the software in teaching. It was quite hard but fun to play with.

There are four types of blog;

✒ WEBLOG

✒ TUTOR BLOG

✒ CLASS BLOG

✒ LEARNER BLOG

Each of them plays different functions, only that the blog has to be updated regularly to give recent information to the students. Back in my practicum year, the school provides a class which is known as VLE Frog. 

Both students and teachers can update about work or feedback. Teachers also participate in giving homework using this software and students can leisurely do it at home with help of parents if needed. 

Other than that, Computer Assisted Language Learning also known as CALL is a term used to refer to the area of technology and second language teaching and learning.

Computer is important for nowadays used along with the internet connection as a means for global communication.
